iesa20 will share research, experiences and outcomes which emerged nationally and internationally from the “Inserimento Eterofamiliare Supportato di Adulti” (IESA) – Supported Shared Living.
By IESA we mean a model of care in which people welcome into their homes people who need psychological or other support. These cohabitations are supported by specially trained professionals and may have a therapeutic or rehabilitative aim.
The IESA is present in various European countries, including Italy which has had a model for twenty-three years, and it has the potential to generate significant social, cultural, political and economic impacts.
The iesa20 conference takes place online and in Turin on the 26th and 27th of November, 2020.
The two-day programme covers the learning, evidence and good practice which has emerged in the international field. We aim to share this learning, support participants to be able to reproduce good practice with fidelity to the values and ethos of this growing movement, and to promote legislative recognition of the IESA at national and European level.
A certificate of attendance is issued by the organising bodies to all registered participants upon request to the Organising Secretariat office.
Official language: Italian with translation from / into English.
Participation is free upon registration on the website: www.iesa20.it or write to the email: convegno@iesa20.it
The seminars scheduled for the 27th of November, in the afternoon session, require prior registration with the LuovodiColombo Association – deadline 16th of November.
To professionals in the field of health and well-being, to social and cultural workers, to people involved in social and health policies and institutions.
